Pairing
Connect the iOS app with the Agent
Pairing transfers your TrueNAS profile from the iOS app to the Agent. After pairing, the Agent connects to TrueNAS and forwards relevant alerts.
Step-by-step
- Open the Agent Web UI in your browser.
- Open NAS Guard on iOS and create a pairing code.
- Enter the pairing code in the Agent UI and press Pair.
What happens after pairing?
- The Agent stores its state in its data directory (persistent volume).
- The Agent connects to TrueNAS via WebSocket and starts monitoring alerts.
- The Agent Web UI shows live status updates.
If pairing fails: Open
